Returns and Refunds

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.

We will not accept returns on opened or used products.

All returns on shipped items that are shipped for free will be also charged a 10% restocking fee to cover the initial cost of shipping. Note this fee will not be charged for items picked up in store. 

Any initial shipping costs paid by the customer are also NOT refundable. 

You have 15 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

Orders placed between November 1 and December 24 can be returned until January 31st.

You are also responsible for paying for, and arranging, return shipping to us.

Please note we will not accept returns on assembled items, including Piklers, shelves, or learning towers.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or Paypal account).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

If you have any issue with your products, we will send replacement parts as needed but cannot replace them with entirely new units. The cost to ship such large items is too high. However, we will 100% guarantee that you will have a functional and safe unit with our help.

How To Return Items

To return an item, you can bring it back to the store during our regular hours. If you are returning an item via courier, please email us at contact@themontessoriroom.com with your order number and the items that you are returning. You are responsible for paying for and arranging shipping back to the store.

Please include your order number and name in the package.

Lost or Stolen Packages

All orders over $300 will be shipped with "Signature Required on Delivery" to ensure they are not at risk of porch theft. 

Please note that if an order is reported lost or stolen, we will work with you to locate the package. We cannot offer a refund under any circumstances for lost or stole packages. We can offer a replacement if they courier has completed an investigation and determined the package is lost.
